I just painted the wood with it's firsat coat of POR-15. Did you guys sand or scuff between the 3 coats or POR-15? The writeup does not say. Also why 3 coats? Would one work or just maybe two. POR-15 gets a bit expensive after a few quarts. It will be garage kept and out of the sun light 99% of the time. Also, I chose to select ValSpar Exterior Gloss Black. I seem to have betters results with this brand.

(we repainted the walls using Behr brand and the paint just is not holding up, easy to mark and scratch as well as peels off in some areas, had to touch up and I know I washed and preped the walls right. Was afraid to use it on the POr-15)
