I have purchased a very nice 5 window 1951 gmc half ton pickup. It drives and runs very well but it has a rebuilt 235 chevy engine put in it by the previous owner. Is this engine basically the same as the gmc engine from the factory? If so will the valve cover from a gmc engine fit this chevy engine? I didn't like the idea of a chevy engine in my truck but overall it was too nice to pass up. Your comments please as this is the first time on this forum and I would like to hear your thoughts on my situation.
