grin I hope to pick up the truck on Friday dance . This time I will make sure to take plenty of pictures of the adventure pix pix . I'm going to drive her back home about 275 miles . Nice and slow - I will go cool - with a friend in tow ( well at least following me ) . I've already been approched about a 1950's Chevy fire truck in Texas by a fellow VFW member ( ex-fireman ) . I did not realize that my post had so many retired and ex-firemen in it . I think they want the post to adopt the truck .They have already started telling me where to find items and to whom I should talk to about things I may need help with thumbs_up . And this is before the 3 vol. and 1 reg. fire depts. in town find out about the truck . I've been warned that I might have to beat off all the local firefighters that will want be your New friend (LOL ). Have to get her tuned up and operable before spring grass burning season starts next year . My rancher friend ( and where I store my extra trucks ) burns each year and already knows several of his neighbors that will want me around to help control their burns . Having done this in the past with a pickup mounted water tank and low GPH pumps it will be nice to have something with more Reach and designed for the purpose . Nothing like getting a boyhood dream and getting to use it for what is was designed for . smile grin thumbs_up Ed H
