I did the power brake conversion on my '49
I uses an aftermarket braket under the floor- like Cpp - & a c10 booster & mastercylinder with the stock brake & clutch linkage. I was told it would never work but it works great. I'm still using the stock drums front & rear with a 10 # in the front brake line.
The only problem was I can't use the stock trans cross member & I had to cut an access hole in the floor under the seat because the whole assembly sits further back that the stock master cylinder.
The trans is an M21 with a centerforce clutch & it hooks good !!
