For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! A small foriegn particle can get in the needle & seat & cause flooding & gas leaking out the throttle shafts. For a off the shelf carb the Edelbrock performer is hard to beat. If you have a 2 barrel you will need a different manifold. If you have a 4 barrel you will need a plate to block the heat passages in the manifold. A place like Summit or Jegs has the best price on that sort of thing. The reman carbs you get at the parts stores about half the time dont work right. Dont give them your old one till the job is done & you are satisfied with it. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
