My name is mike and my sons name is Cody. I am 41 and had a heart attack and open heart surgery a few months ago. It totally changed my life in a good way. I always thought I would live forever, But now I realize thats not gonna happen. I Realized how important family is. Sometimes you take things for granted, Like being here tomorrow. Well now I Thank God I am here today. It is important for me to spend as much time as possible with my family. Cody is 14....Getting his licenes in a couple of years. Well he's gonna need a truck...He likes the old ones just like me.So we bought a 1961 apache 10 to mess around with..It runs perfect. Needs some body work...pretty solid truck for it's age. After we bought this truck he found another one, a 63 c 10 stepside. Thats the one he is after now. So i guess the apache will be sold and maybe by time he is 16 we might have the 63 ready to cruise. i am new to this site but I absolutly love it. Everyone seems to be so helpful and dedicated. I'm a pretty good mechanic but i have never done any body work so me and Cody will learn it together and we will have alot of quality time together. With all the stovebolters on here, Myself and Cody I am sure we can accomplish anything that has to be done to an old truck. Anyway thats the plan... Just wanted to say thanks for having me....Me and Cody will have lots of questions in the near future for you more experienced members.
Sincerly, Cody and Dad
