Iron shop some years back. It is a great paint and very durable. I generally used satin because most of the things I painted looked better with out full gloss. I also made truck racks and I would use the same industrial enamel. I would add some dupont hardener to the paint and I got a very shinny finish and great durability. When I was painting iron rails and such I would always cut the paint with lacquer thinner. It would take some of the gloss out of the paint and dried faster.
I am getting ready to paint my frame and axles and I will be using industrial gloss black with hardener. When using the hardener I always used the correct reducer for the paint, not lacquer thinner. | | |
