The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Big Bolts 1955 - 1959 LCF and GMC parts interchangeability

Are parts from 1955-1959 LCF parts interchangeable among years and how do the GMC equivalents fit in with interchangeability? I need a hood latch and hood emblem for my 1957 and have leads on a 1958 GMC and 1959 LCF that I think are being parted out. Will either and or both work for the hood latch? I realize the 59 chevy emblem is different but will it fit?
