Chassis Engineering Inc. has a bolt-in crossmember and that is the way I have decided to go. I wanted to use everything else as stock components and called around to local yards. The cheapest front end I could find was for $250. I feel this is too high for what I would be getting off of it (upper and lower control arms, spindles, and rack). I would still need to replace all of the bushings, etc and the cost would add up in a hurry. I don't think I could buy the brakes for any cheaper than the Speedway kit.
I plan to purchase the CE crossmember and the Speedway brake kit. Does anybody know where I can find upper and lower control arms, spindles, and a rack for a decent price? I have access to a sandblaster and don't mind putting in the time & effort to rebuild the parts.
Thanks for any help guys! | | |
