Forgive me for not having all the details, but I have to ask...
Do flywheels, bell housings, and starters interchange between chevy & gmc?
I have an early 54 235 I want to spin with a starter and start breaking in. The only easily available bell & flywheel are on a junk GMC engine in the box of my parts truck. I don't know which size it is if that matters. I do believe it has the bolts through the valve covers like the early 235's.
If all that works, will a chevy starter then go on the gmc bell & flywheel?
