I agree - the shift pattern is normal. Reverse seemed a bit tricky to find at first (i.e. over to left and up). I will be installing a New Process A-833 in my '49 Chevy 3600. One guy said I would be happier with a Saginaw 4-speed or a BG T5 5-speed. Any Stovebolters out there running an NP A833? How do you like it?
