I know there is probably 100 answers to this question but what type of rings do you like to use in your Chevy 6 engine? The last one I rebuild I used Hastings Cast Iron rings and Celvite rod, main and Federal- Mogal cam bearings they lasted 18 years in my 261 cu. driven everyday to work with regular oil changes and replacement filters. Now the last couple of years I had to step up the grade of oil but still had reasonably good preasure for being wore out.
