If you want to run your stock 3 or 4 speed trans you will have to find a bellhousing out of any truck with a V8 from 55-66, or a 63-66 6 cyl. The bellhousing pattern is different between the 216/235 and 250. Later than 66 will work also, but does not include provisions for the side mounts.
