I to am putting a 250 in my 54 3100. My first take is that due to the length of the water pump/pulleys/fan, ect., that it will require a pusher fan and fabricating motor mounts and a rear cross member. I'll keep you posted and can come up with some pic's in the process. I'm setting mine up with 350 tranny.
