Hmn... what year 235 ya droppin' into the '51 ?
Isn't there some funkiness about the water pump sticking out too far... on later model 235's in AD trucks - my dad has a '53 AD chevy with '57 235 - he hadda use the 216(I think) shorter shaft water pump... whihc I think also requires machining love to make it work... or a bracket... I dunnoo he bought it all ready to go.
