Yep, that's the one. GM H-072. Just did a search with that and the 3/4 and 1 tons used it. The only difference was the 3/4 had a 4.57 with an option for 5.13 while the 1 ton had the 5.13.
And no, I can't find much of anything on the net. I certainly haven't found anyone selling freeway friendly gears. Seems like a good, beefy rear (full floating I think) so I don't understand why gears are not available. Unless anyone's got suggestions, I guess I'll have to start looking for a cheap Dana 44.
