Just a little side note I had to laugh when I saw $1.19 for gas and I really had a chuckle when I saw $1.25 for diesel Oh those were the days. P.S. Baron I stole the picture for my background hope you don't mind. Ok back the the original question I have an uncle who put a 1946 chevy COE on a 85 chevy duelly so it can be done it used the original pedals with some adapting, but he used the column from the truck and it worked well he just had to get a couple of joints to make it work. he did move the engine behind the cab so it would sit lower.
That picture was taken about 8 years ago,just before I sold it. Hard to believe how much gas/fuel has increased in such a short time. (And we were probably complaining that gas had gone over $1.00 per gallon...lol)
