After my truck sets for about 3 days the GM 350 trans begins to leak. It leaks about 1 quart per week. The oil appears to be coming from the fill pipe or the downshift cable. I was told tha torque converter is leaking, overfilling the pan. Is the solution a new torque converter or a better seal at the fill pipe or cable? My trans has o-rings for seals at the pipe and cable. I have seen 350 trans with a boot for a seal at the fill pipe. Shuold I have a boot?
