Besides serial/vin what are the give aways in telling a 1940 2 ton. I have heard speak of them- but have not found any real hard documents on a two ton. Did they make them? This one I am looking to buy is a 10 lug dually, the man claims it came as a flat bed. It's all there and runs but does need brakes. It has a SBC in it. I do know it is not a two speed rear end, but it is a huge rear axle for sure, way bigger than my 03 Dodge Dually. So any info is much appreciated before I buy it. I will need brake parts and have only seen parts for the 1.5 ton.?
