To give you an update. I had carb rebuilt by an expert who did find some internal adjustments that needed to be corrected. Put back on engine and it started right up, still has poping in exhaust and bogs down when you load engine. Put timing light on #1 and little ball is right on pointer. Purchased new vacuum advance assy from Brother's and have installed it, still same problem?? I am out of things to try??? Rechecked points setting, spark plug gap, ballast resistor connections! Any suggestions THANKS DAVE
