Just a little progress-post!
Got married, and managed to get the truck on the road in time to have it at the wedding and even be in the ceremony! My bride and I rode up to the ceremony in the back meadow of our friends' farm with our siblings in the back.

Pic 4 It was not an uneventful drive from our house to the farm, which is about 50 miles.
I foolishly did not install a fuel filter when i put the engine in, and it started loosing power and almost cutting out pretty badly during the drive. I'm pretty sure it was starving for fuel, since the points look good.
I have to go spend a day giving it some love before driving it home.
