Do you have points or electronic ignition?
Solid core wire or supressor wire?
Electronic ignitions don't work with solid core wire, except Pertronix Ignitor I.
If you never stripped and crimped ignition wire, get plenty of length of wire and a few extra terminals.
Takes a little practice to get them right and clean.
There are straight and 90 degree terminals and boots.
Crimping tools come for different size wires. 7mm is the most common.
Even if you use a multi-purpose crimping and stripping hand tool, always use a vice when crimping that size wires.
