| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 150 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 150 | Let's start with is this a 6 or 12 volt ignition? Is the correct voltage present at the coil? Is the coil correct voltage (6 or 12) and have the correct resistance required for the Pertronix?
I'm assuming these are "cold" starts. Since the plugs are dry, What happens when you pour 1 or 2 ozs of gas into the carb, then try to start. PLEASE be very careful doing this. | | | |
