I used a column out of 89 S-10 Blazer with tilt. Really steering columns are real easy to fabricate. If you can't find a short one out of a 70's chevy van, you can shorten just about anything. All you need is a couple of universal joints and line it up. When I stubbed my truck with a Nova subframe I just cut a new hole in the floor to line up the steering gear and column. I plan on using the turn signal and ignition on the new column.
