Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 10 | You got to start some where and with something. I can see the finished truck in those pics. If you look hard enough you'll see it in there. There is 2 trucks (not complete) in that pile. I think I'm going to have to shorten the frame. I really want to use this frame and these wheels.
I have to be honest here. I have spent most of my time on VW (cheap & easy) to lean alot of my fabricating. This is my first domestic build. There are going to be a TON of questions.
Like: What wheel bolt pattern is that and what updated axles with juice can I bolt them to? I want to use this frame (shorten) if not doable what frame (old) can I use? Its a '29 so what years are the same (model, parts that fit..etc.)?
You don't have to answer these now I plan to reseach as much as I can. I'm waiting on the title to figure out the VIN , model and all that stuff so I have a true starting point. I think this is going to be a BLAST to build. Its not going to be anything fancy. All I can truly say is that I'm SAVING a piece of history from the scrap death. | | |
