I am not an expert in this area but I can tell you what I am doing. I just bought a 235 for my 57. It was completly rebuilt almost a year ago and the owner never took it off the pallet when he got it back from the rebuild shop. It has never been turned over since the rebuild & sat in the guys shop. I got it last week, took the valve cover off & oiled everything with Marvil Mystery Oil. Also take the spark plugs out & shoot some of the oil into the cylinders. I am going to let it set for a few days & then turn it over by hand with the plugs out of it. Hope this helps you with yours.
