if i were to remove my 235 for a v8 [small block or big block], what hardware would be necessary for the conversion, and how much should i look to spend on it? additionally, would my original synchromesh 4spd [in my '62 chevy half ton] be adaptable, or would the tranny have to go, as well? thanks!
