The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed 57 3100 bed side wood rails plans?

Does anyone have a set of plans or pictures of a 57 3100 with side rials on the bed? You know, that would fit in the stake holes?

I would like to make one that is 2 or 3 rails high that staggers as it goes toward the rear of the truck.

I have not seen many examples.

Also does anyone know of any hardware that may exist to fasten the front stakes to the side stakes?

I saw a 49 3100 once that had a beautiful set on it. It had front rails that were attached to side rails and they had metal corned fastners that slid into each other allowing you to take it off in 3 pieces. left, right and front.

Any plans or pictures with details?
