old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 13 | I've read a few of the posts on the Mustang II IFS install on the 55-59 Chevy's. there's some good information in there. I had a few questions that no-one has addressed though. I've decided on the Heidt's version with the tubular A-arms, dropped spindles and power rack and pinion steering. My truck is a 59, I'm pretty sure it's a 3/4 ton.
Does anyone have any pictures of a completed install?
What power steering box do I need to make this install complete?
Aside from the power steering box, what other parts will I need to complete this install?
I've never tackled a job of this size before. If anyone can offer any suggestions or can address any issues that I haven't thought of yet I'd appreciate a heads up.
