Anyway, I bought new rear mounts and my '58 manual says the should be torques to 50lbs or so. As I start wrenching they seem to start expanding/flatten as if their going to blow out. Is 50lbs really the torque. I'm using the original 3 1/4" bolts. Is their a certain distance that the bolt end should stick out of the bell housing. Also the front mounts I just tightened securely.
