That's insane... so much for 'quality control'... I guess the guy in charge of that was drinking that day!
That said, I think it's kinda cool like that... some guys would pay a fortune for a "real" tailgate stamped like that for their rat rods but what matters is that YOU like it... if you don't I'd be bringing it back to them with a "come ON guys... do you see anything wrong with the tailgate you sold me?"
I can't see them not making it right... somebody clearly dropped the ball!
