Hy Tombstoneshadow, does the engine you're asking about have all of its head bolts on the same level, [all the same length]? If it does, then it's a GMC engine. On a pad just to the rear side of the distributer, there should be a number stamped into the block, post that here and someone should be able to identify it, hope that helps.
