I have a 49 half ton and have shaved the handles and put in bear claw latches. My question is do I need to remove the window stop in the door? I tink that the channel if mounted to the side will suffice as it relates to clearance. I hope this makes sense to everyone. I saw an episode of one of the motor head shows with installing a kit and they removed the stop on the car. I wanted someone who has sone this before to see if they have the metal brace between the outside skin and inside door frame. Also, anything to look out for with the window motor and solenoid in the bottom of the door? Thanks
One day I am going to finish this project!
