#44036 06/14/2004 6:33 PM | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 71 | The fit between my shifter and the ball in the top of the transmission has some wear, not bad but at the shift knob, the shifter will move about 3/4" in any direction without moving the ball. Is this anywhere close to normal? I'm confused about how the shop manual addresses this. Other than how to remove the shifter, it seems to detail the shifter yokes more than the shifter. Are parts to repair this available? How big of a job is it? | | |
