The front xmember is completely different. GMCs of that vintage have the model and production number stamped on the frame. I'm not sure if the rear axle mounts differently between chevy and gmc... I think one mounts over the springs, and one under, but not sure as to which is which. Of course that could be a 1/2 ton 3/4 ton quirk as well.
