My 1962 235 in my 1953 GMC PU has a miss in it, we ran a compression check, every cylinder but # 4 reads between 105 and 115#s. The #4 doesn't read anything, and we suspect a burned exhaust valve. My question is, is the 105 to 115#s of compression on the rest of the cylinders in the normal range? This motor is supposed to have only 20,000 miles on a rering, so I don't want to ring it again if the compression is in line.
