I just had my axle dropped for my 48 chevy pickup and I bolted it in last night (The truck has an awesome stance now). Naturally, the steering needs to be modified to accomodate the drop (4 inches). Before I begin to modify the steering, does anyone have any pointers? I'm assuming that I will need to heat and bend the steering arms down and shorten the tie-rod. Are there other options? I'd appreciate any feedback before I begin.

Thanks,
Rich
