My wife and I recently acquired a 1951 5 window that is in need of some TLC. It has been re-wired by some of its former owners and doesn't match any "factory" standard at all. I would like to scrap everything that is there and start fresh to bring the wiring back to original and upgrade it to a 12 volt system. I would upgrade the starter, generator and voltage regulator to the 12 volts as I'd like to maintain the "original" look. Any recommendations on a supplier of a reproduction wire harness and a helping hand on what additions for the voltage reducers to use and where?
