Thanks for the compliments, I am happy with the work the painter is doing. It is PPG DAR 3280, Burgundy Maroon, I got the color code from Tim Lederman, and spoke with Bob Adler and got confirmation, and a couple of other offsets. The paint is acrylic enamel with a urethane hardener, the painter spec'd out what he wanted to shoot. The color is deep and the shine will be nice. Next step is color sanding, and buffing it out. I think it will look great. As far as primer it is PPG DP90LF. As an FYI for budget I will end up with about $1,500 in materials and $4,000 in labor for the paint job, when I look at the hours spent, the hourly rate is not bad. It is really tough to find someone to do the job, too much time for a production shop, and the shops that do restoration around here want a check for $20K and see you in a year, and they are all busy.
