I haven't found any rattle can color that is right for the interior of any year AD. I do believe that there were a few tries by me and the others to find a simple solution but the only color for the ’49 dash in my opinion is PPG DBU/DBI #27467. What those tries were I would have to search the archives to find them, but you can do that also.

The only hammered finish in the AD's interior were the heater housings.
The early Art Deco 1941-47 1st. interior were a sort of hammered finish.
