my truck will sometime die when at high-way speed and then will re-start by itself, does not do it a lot,,and sometime I get a faint back-fire,, I have noticed that I have a small crack in my vent hose going to the gas tank, would that cause it and also could this be some type of vapor lock, it is weird that you can drive for many miles and it may not even do it,,the truck is a 54 235 engine with mallory electronic Ing........it stalled on the way home from the meet , went from 60 to about 35 and then fired back up and no more problem, thanks for any and all suggestions......Fred
