The GM T-5 bearing retainer is 4.688" in diameter, same as the old Saginaw and T-10's. The Ford T-5 bearing retainer is 5.00" in diameter. If memory serves correctly, this is also the size of the early GM 4-speeds. the bearing retainers on the T-5's are swapable. The later GM SBC bellhousings that I have laying around are all 4.688"
