The front of the input shaft & the front brg retainer have to be shortened to match the old trans. The mounting holes have to be drilled out to 1/2 in. The splines on the front shaft have to be ground so the disc will slide on 1/2 in further. You should put a crossmember under the trans. with a mount. Use a fine spline yoke from practically any 68 up chev. & have the drive shaft modified to fit. There has been many posts on this in this forum. You can get more info doing a search & in the Tech Tip section They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
