| | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 54 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 54 | Has any of you folks ever installed a power glide transmission on a 235 engine in a 47-54 Chevrolet truck? I have been told there are some clearance issues, I was told the transmission will hit on the body. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to change the engine because it performs so good. I currently have a 3 speed transmission, but would love a automatic transmission. A power glide is the only tranny that will connect to a '57 235 engine. As always thanks a bunch. | | |
