I own a small stainless fab business and recently purchased a 55' Chevy 6400 flat bed to haul loads of sheetmetal. It has been kept in a barn for 19 years and is in good, mostly rust free condition which is amazing for Oregon. Even the bed wood is in really good condition. However, It has not run in 20 or so years and the brakes are stuck. I believe it has a 261, with a Muncie manual transmission and a 2 speed rear end.
