actually JD [and AD], the starter gear is mechanically engaged by the foot push, via
an internal yoke in the nose assembly, the electrical connection only causes the starter to spin .... sounds like you need to get on with tearing some of this stuff apart and refurbishing it instead of buzzing around abusing it further .... quit playing with the toy and start building the truck - takes thought and effort, not money
