For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Mine had the similar curved clevis which I substituted with ones available from Jim Carter. The rods are easy to cut/adapt rethread or as the above post make your own. The spring on the 3/4 ton attaches to the second clevis and the frame support to the drivers side of the carrier bearing cross member. I have it laid out in the picture like it attaches. There is a triangular plate on each side; the DS has a 1/4 in hole in it. There has to be a spring somewhere on the 1/2 ton for the system to work properly. I will look through my manuals and see what I can come up with and repost when I find it | | |
