Just an idea here but why not put a second 6V battery in parallel with the first battery and run all your aux loads off of it through a seperate ammeter like atomarc suggested? That won't keep your generator from working just as hard but would keep everything lit and blarin' away a lot longer and double your cranking amps at the same time. I dunno, whadya think?
