Howdy:
I've got a '53 3100 with the original 216. It sat for about 25 years. I got the motor running. I initially set it up with a gravity feed fuel system. Well, I rebuilt the fuel pump and the carburetor and it runs GREAT!...once I get it running. The engine WILL NOT start without a little help from some starter fluid. Once it's running it will run forever and pretty smooth. Anybody got any ideas?
