What year/model rear end did you use to get the 3.08 gears? Is it a 5 or six lug rear?
'73 Chevelle wagon with 5 lugs. I bought the entire car for just $10. Had to cut the coil spring mounts off and weld on spring pads.
I'm so pleased with it that I've located another Chevelle wagon which I plan to get the rear from.
I have a '55 1st pickup that I'm told has a '58 rear under it. I've not idea what ratio it might be, but apparently it fit easy enough.
